AltAss Ratings (On a scale of 1 to 5 asses)
Plot:
The subject matter of highly priced art and the millionaires that can afford it may have inadvertantly alienated the likely audience somewhat.
Writing:
The pace was too slow to effectively hold a high interest level. Yet another example of a film claiming to be a comedy that is not funny.
Acting:
Top notch ensemble cast that performed admirably. It is really too bad they didn't have better material to work with.
Originality:
An up close and personal look at elitist art snobs which is certainly quite different than most movies you'll encounter.
Overall:
This film had an excellent cast and a fresh new idea for a film which had great potential to make it special. Unfortunately it failed in the critical facet of entertainment value and instead takes its place in the painfully average ranks of most movie efforts.
